ABOUT OUR COHORT PROGRAM
The cohort experience cultivates meaningful relationships in a supportive learning community with the shared purpose of developing ourselves, promoting well-being for self and others, and creating a meaningful life.
‘There’s a lot to be thankful for in this amazing group of mentors and students.”
Relationship Building
The cohort program is grounded in developing authentic, meaningful relationships. Learning experiences are designed to explore our strengths, personalities, guiding principles, and unique potential in a safe and accepting environment.
Learning
Throughout the four-year experience, students learn about positive psychology, personality models, social and emotional awareness, living with intention, and being a well-rounded human. Learning takes place through workshops with professional instructors, reading non-fiction New York Times bestsellers and engaging research-based books, individual writing, and experiential learning in and outside the cohort.
Summer Retreat
All cohorts come together in Colorado in June for a weekend of connection, growth, and fun. In addition to two virtual meetings per year, the retreat is a great way to get to know other scholars and leaders and grow beyond the classroom.
Scholars attend sessions with professional instructors, hike in the Rocky Mountains, engage in personal reflection, and challenge themselves to step outside their comfort zone.
We partner with the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center for a day of team-building and adventure.
“For me, it’s been eye opening to really learn more about myself when I thought I already knew everything.”
